CWU ULF 2012-2014

Trish Lavelle, Head of Education & Training, gave details of the CWU Union Learning Fund bid for 2012 to 2014 at the Regional Learning Committee Officers meeting held at CWU Head Office on Tuesday 20th March.
The CWU ULF Project was accepted but funding for 2013/2014 will be confirmed when further government spending reviews are carried out.

There will now only be four Project Workers across England instead of one per region as before. Each Project Worker will be working on certain areas of the new ULF round along with Trish Lavelle, Lee Wakeman and Paul Dovey. A briefing/LTB will be issued by Trish to all branches outlining the changes and detailing the learning themes that will be worked on during the next two years.

A ULR National Networking Event will be held in November at a venue to be confirmed.
